Steve Marks, Chief Operating Officer of Sinclair’s television group has announced that Mr. Tom Humpage has joined as General Manager for WGME-TV in Portland, Maine, effective August 17. Humpage served as General Sales Manager at WKYC-TV, the NBC affiliate in Cleveland, OH before joining WGME-TV. He served as General Sales Manager for KMSP-TV/WFTC-TV in Minneapolis, MN. Before heading to Minnesota, Mr. Humpage was the Director of Sales for WOIO-TV/WUAB-TV in Cleveland, OH. He attended Ohio State University and is a member of the Cleveland Association of Broadcasters.
Mr. Marks said, “We are excited to have Tom join the company. We believe that he will be a perfect fit for WGME given his proven track record of sales success at major network affiliates. We look forward to having him bring those leadership skills to the station, as well as his experience working in larger markets.”
