Dish Network Withdrew Local Stations in 11 markets

Dish Network’s negotiation with Young Broadcasting has failed and the satcaster has removed Young’s local broadcast networks in 11 markets. Dish Network’s contract with the operator has ended on Dec.10 and negotiation to renew the contract has failed to reach an agreement. The reason for the failure was due to Young broadcasting seeking more price to carry the network. Dish subscribers won’t see Young’s broadcast in following cities:

Albany, N.Y

Davenport, Iowa

Green Bay, Wis

Knoxville, Tenn

Lafayette, La.

Lansing, Mich

Nashville, Tenn

Rapid City, S.D.

Richmond, Va.

San Francisco

Sioux Falls SD
