DirecTV Adds Local HD Broadcast in Fort Wayne, Indana

DirecTV has been adding local HD channels in many cities in recent past and now the satcaster has launched in the Fort Wayne market area on Wednesday, Nov. 19.

DirecTV subscribers with H20 or H21 HD receiver or an HR20 or HR21 DIRECTV Plus HD DVR and a Ka/Ku band dish in Fort Wayne, Indiana area will receive following local broadcast networks in high-definition:

WPTA/ABC

WANE/CBS

WISE/NBC and

WFFT/FOX

The satcaster now offers local HD broadcast channels in 115 cities, representing more than 87 percent of U.S. TV households.
