Cox Communications has announced the launch of 13 new high-definition channels in South Hampton Roads on Dec. 5. Cox has added these new HD channels to stay in competition with other providers expanding their HD line-up aggressively. The new HD channels added are:
Nickelodeon HD – Channel 729
Bravo HD – Channel 761
Sci-Fi HD – 740
CMT HD – 733
CNBC HD – 725
Spike HD – 756
Lifetime Movie Network HD – 809
Hallmark Movie Channel HD – 859
Lifetime Network HD – 709
MTV HD – 722
Planet Green HD – 813
USA HD – 718 and
VH1 HD – 767
Cox also added Chiller in standard definition and announced that many new HD channels are coming up in 2009.
