AT&T To Carry Viacom’s Seven HD channels

AT&T has announced that it has reached an agreement with Viacom to launch seven new high-definition channels this year. AT&T U-Verse subscribers are served with 85 HD channels. AT&T will be adding following channels this year:

CMT HD

Comedy Central HD

BET HD

Spike HD

VH1 HD

MTV HD and

Nickelodeon HD

“This strategic deal brings more content to our customers in new and better ways, while supporting Viacom with increased distribution and advertising revenue” said Dan York, head of programming at AT&T.
